Requirements vary by university, programme, citizenship and application location. Check the notice for your exact intake before submitting.
Core file
Create one master folder, but do not submit an identical bundle everywhere. Each programme may differ in format, language, issue date and certification rules.
- Passport and recent photograph.
- Diploma or official expected-graduation certificate.
- Complete academic transcript bearing the institution's seal.
- A valid language result for the selected track.
- Completed form in the official application portal.
What changes by level
Undergraduate admission may require CSCA, national school-leaving results and guardian documents for minors. Master's and doctoral routes more often require two references, a research plan and sometimes supervisor consent. Art and design add a portfolio or practical assessment.
Translation and certification
Documents not in Chinese or English normally need a notarised translation. Apostille and translation are separate operations. Confirm what to certify and in what order, or one changed page may force the whole bundle to be redone.
Preparation order
Prepare long-lead documents without short validity first: passport, academic records, translations and references. Then plan tests. Closer to submission, obtain the medical form and police clearance where the notice limits them to six months.
